Steve Tetens
MANAGING DIRECTOR, PROJECT & CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
Steve Tetens leads all project management and construction for Southern California at Gemdale USA and is responsible for aligning performance of projects with their business plans.
Prior to joining Gemdale USA, Mr. Tetens has been successful in various roles among them, running his own real estate consulting firm, at Ledcor Construction, and Suffolk Construction. Steven’s value comes through his perspective, having worked as a subcontractor, General Contractor, Architect of Record, and Developer. Steven has given presentations on project management and construction for Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate students at both the University of San Diego and at Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University. Mr. Tetens is a licensed Architect with reciprocity via certification with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute, OSHA-30 Certified, and been an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for over 20 years.
Mr. Tetens holds a Bachelor of Architecture at Illinois Institute of Technology, where he was a recipient of the Stan Makita Hockey Scholarship and awarded of the American Institute of Architect’s Henry Adams Certificate and Medal for Academic Excellence.
