A group of 17 students as well as faculty from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design Program visited Gemdale Corporation’s Headquarters in Shenzhen and were hosted by Gemdale senior management. Amongst topics covered were the evolution of Gemdale Corporation’s business from its early roots in 1988, Gemdale’s evolution as a leading real estate enterprise throughout China, as well as Gemdale’s ‘Internationalization Strategy’. Moreover, the visiting delegation toured a number of Gemdale’s leading real estate projects throughout the Shenzhen Metropolitan Area. Harvard Graduate School of Design Professor Bing Wang presented her recent research findings entitled, “Data-Driven Placemaking and New Real Estate Typologies”.
